Ranking features, judgement sets and offline evaluation for teams with large query logs and no measurement.

Principal — search & distributed systems
Saeed Shahsavan has spent his career building the unglamorous half of search: the ingestion that never stops, the index that has to stay honest, and the ranking layer everyone has an opinion about. He works with enterprise teams on search platforms, event-driven data infrastructure and retrieval for AI products.
The work is deliberately hands-on. He writes the code, sits in the incident channel, and prefers a two-week review that changes one decision over a hundred-page strategy nobody implements.
His search background is not theoretical: he led the crawler module team at Zarebin, a general-purpose web search engine, building and operating the fetch, parsing, deduplication and scheduling pipelines that keep a live web-scale index fresh — the same discipline he now brings to enterprise ingestion and indexing pipelines at StreamSearch.
He also writes and teaches — a published author on building enterprise systems in Go, and a regular workshop lead on Elasticsearch and Apache Lucene internals and relevance engineering.
He holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering; his thesis, “Design of an Enterprise Search Engine Based on Cloud Computing,” is the direct root of StreamSearch’s specialism in cloud-native, high-performance enterprise search.

Technical lead — Java, FinTech & LLM engineering
Saeed Aliakbari is a technical lead with more than thirteen years of building enterprise Java systems, most of them in payments — the kind of software where every transaction has to be correct, traceable and fast under load.
Since 2017 he has worked at Behpardakht Mellat, a payment service provider — first as a Java developer, then for seven years as a senior Java developer, and since January 2025 as technical lead.
Before that he built Java systems at NRDC (2016–2017) and Sanye Electronic (2013–2015). His stack spans Java, Spring and Spring Boot microservices, Apache Kafka, big-data processing and AngularJS front ends.
He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Shahid Beheshti University (2012–2015), where his work focused on fraud and money-laundering detection, and a B.Sc. in Computer Science (Information Systems) from Damghan University (2008–2012).
More recently his focus has extended to Python, AI and LLM engineering — bringing the reliability habits of payment infrastructure to retrieval and AI-backed products.

Ranking features, judgement sets and offline evaluation for teams with large query logs and no measurement.
Streaming platforms, change data capture and exactly-once indexing at high write volume.
Embedding models, rerankers and retrieval-grounded assistants, with evaluation rather than vibes.
Cluster operations, capacity and cost modelling, and the observability that keeps search quiet at night.
